Stacey Teaches Guitar

Hi, I’m Stacey!

I am a professional musician and music teacher in the Murray Hill area of Jacksonville, Florida. I worked as an educator at Duval County Public Schools prior to starting my business.

I have been playing guitar and songwriting for over twenty years. I’ve been performing in the Jacksonville area and across the US with my project, Folk is People, since 2012.

My goal is to get students playing and creating as soon as possible. I tailor all of my lessons to each individual's needs so folks can get the most out of their time with me.

I work with students ages 7 and up who are dedicated to becoming proficient players and set aside an appropriate amount of time each week to hone their skills!

Aside from guitar, I teach bass guitar, ukulele, songwriting and music theory.

My studio is a safe and loving space for EVERYONE 🌈
